A regular membership meeting of the Ocean Grove Homeowners Association (OGHOA) was held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 in the Community Room and via Zoom.
The meeting was called to order at 10:05 am by Barbara Burns, Past President, as President Richard Williams could not attend. Barbara welcomed all and opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. There was one Candidate Forum.
Candidate Forum for the US 6th Congressional District
Participating was as Frank Pallone, the Democratic Candidate. Sue Kiley, the Republican candidate had a conflict and was unable to participate).
Congressman Pallone addressed the group at length, discussing initiatives that he has been involved with, including (but not limited to) drug prices and limits on increases in health insurance premiums.
Questions from the membership followed.

Business Meeting
Parking Committee Report: Barbara Burns related that the Neptune Task Force met on October 10 and no critical decisions were made.
North End Report: Joan Venezia reported that OGNED was denied a Certificate of Appropriateness by the HPC. The next step in procee is for the HPOC to “memorialize” the denial – a special meeting of the HPC will be held on Tuesday, October 25th.
Preservation Committee Report: Ron Goldfadden reported that the Committee had 9 members and has been busy. He provided an update on some of the properties that need some attention. Several membership questions followed.
Fitness Path Report: Barbara Burns updated that there was not much to report. Application bty the CMA to the DCA not yet been filed. Several membership questions followed.
