A regular meeting of the Ocean Grove Homeowners Association was held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 10 am at the Camp Meeting Association Community Room, 24 Pilgrim Pathway, Ocean Grove. Barbara Burns, President of the Association, chaired the meeting.
The meeting was called to order by Barbara at 10:05 am. A prayer was followed by the flag salute.
Barbara welcomed guests—State Assemblyman Eric Houghtaling and Camp Meeting President, Michael Badger.
For Neptune Township Committee:
- Democratic candidates Mayor Nicholas Williams and Dr. Michael Brantley.
- Barbara read a statement submitted by Republican candidate Jim Granelli who was ill and unable to attend.
For U.S. Congress
- Democratic candidate Josh Welle.
- Republican incumbent Chris Smith elected not to attend.
Questions from the audience followed. A lively and informative discussion ensued.
A very short business meeting followed.
Officer Christopher Monahan, Police Liaison to the Homeowners Association, spoke briefly reminding everyone to be extra cautious on Halloween and the evening before. Also “if you see something, say something.”
The meeting adjourned at 11:25 am.
