A regular meeting of the OGHOA was held on Saturday, Saturday March 25th, 2023 in the Camp Meeting Community Room, 28 Pilgrim Pathway.
OPENING The meeting was called to order by Richard Williams, President, at 10:05 am followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
GUEST SPEAKER
Joe Ciccone, Neptune Township Director of Code and Construction, offered a very informative presentation on building and construction codes for Ocean Grove. He described the rules and the process for permit application, as well as his interface with the HPC in ensuring that proper approvals are obtained and that building codes are followed. He discussed the importance of code enforcement and related safety issues. He also detailed the current regulations for short term rentals in Neptune. Many questions followed. On one key issue, Mr. Ciccone promised to look into whether the CMA’s Tents and cottages should be getting certificates of inspection.

- Members were requested to attend the next Township Meetings.
- The Chamber of Commerce has announced a Downtown Enhancement Project to plant and care for the 24 new downtown planters seasonally, repair the street lights, general clean up of the streets, etc.
- April HOA Meeting will feature OG attorney Robert Ingato presenting his research into rules and regulations for beach access along the Jersey shore
Committee Reports:

- Parking – Joyce Klein summed up where things stand after the Township Committee decided not to go forward with the trial permit parking proposal as had proposed by the Parking Task Force — quite simply we are a standstill for some time to come.
- North End – Once again Joan Venezia reported that action on the pending OGNED court case has been postponed again.

- Barbara Burns brought the vote for approval of the OGHOA 5013c status to the floor: the motion was made, seconded and approved.
