A regular meeting via Zoom of the Ocean Grove Homeowners Association
Was held on Saturday, July 25, 2020.
Barbara Burns, President, opened the meeting with a prayer and The Flag Salute.
She welcomed guests Rob Lane, Mayor of Neptune Township, Carol Rizzo, Neptune
Township Council, Mike Badger, Camp Meeting and Assemblyman Eric Houghtaling
Announcements:
The Neptune Police urge everyone to be careful and to be sure to lock all bicycles.
The HOA August “Breakfast” will be via Zoom this year on August 22, 2020 at 10 am.
Election of HOA officers: the slate of officers as follows for the period July 2020-July 2022 were elected:

- Richard Williams, President
- Joyce Klein, Vice President
- George Germann, Treasurer
- Theresa Checki, Secretary
- In addition, Nancy Clarke was nominated for a term of three years.
All nominees were unopposed and approved by voice vote.
Barbara turned the meeting over to Richard Williams, President.
Richard had some lovely opening remarks including thanking Barbara for her
Outstanding service, but pleased that she will be staying on as Past President. He also
thanked Ann Horan who will be stepping down from the Board for her long service. He
also indicated that there will be one opening on the Board to fill the seat being
vacated by Joyce Klein.
Announcements:
The August breakfast will be via Zoom and that he hoped many of our elected officials will participate. He also reported that HOA plans to hold its Regular political Forums for candidates running for election this Fall in September and October.
Guest Speaker:
Richard introduced this month’s guest speaker, Mark Kourey, a member of our
Board of Trustees, who discussed cyber security. Mark provided an update to some of his remarks made last year at our meeting as well as advice on dealing with some of the challenges presented during this Covid crisis. His presentation was most informative. Questions followed.
The meeting adjourned at 11:10 am.
