Guest Speaker: Ted David -- There's No Other Place Like it: A Quirky Look at Ocean Grove Past & Present

Hard to believe but dating back to our original charter in 1953, the OGHOA is celebrating its 70th Anniversary this year. If we are looking backward, let's have some fun with our guest speaker, historian Ted David. Ted is a retired professor of law and tax attorney. He’s written three books about Ocean Grove “The Other Side of Ocean Grove”, “Forgotten Ocean Grove” and “Encore Ocean Grove.” According to Steve Mandeville, owner of the Comfort Zone store, Ted is an Ocean Grove local best selling author. His least known book is a tax text called “Dealing with the IRS”and his most infamous book of Smart-Aleck poetry is called “Here’s Rhyme in Your Eye”. Ted has lived in OG for almost 40 years.

There's no doubt about it - Ocean Grove is a quirky place to live. We will be fortunate to look at it together through the entertaining lens of a most accomplished and knowledgeable local historian!
