The Ocean Grove Homeowners Association meeting was held via Zoom on Saturday,
August 22, 2020 at 10 am. This Zoom meeting was held lieu of our much loved August Breakfast on the porch at the Starving Artist.
Richard Williams, President called the meeting to order at 10 am. Richard introduced himself and opened the meeting with the Flag Salute.
Due to Covid the following events have been cancelled: the September 12 Flea
Market and the September 26 British Car Show. The Fall Harvest Festival, set for
October, is yet to be determined.
There will be a rally at the Post Office on Main Avenue today.
Richard also made a request for financial donations to St. Paul’s Food Pantry and for school supplies for the children of Neptune township (flyer on OGHOA website).
Richard welcomed Michael Badger and Jamie Jackson of the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association and our special guest speakers.
Despite a change of venue…and lack of a sumptuous breakfast, we had an exceptional
lineup of incumbent office-holders as our guest speakers.

- Joanne Downey, NJ District 11 Assemblywoman
- Eric Houghtaling, District 11 Assemblyman
- Rob Lane, Mayor, Neptune Township
Each speaker addressed pertinent topics for the group and provided topical and valuable Information. Questions followed.
Everyone was reminded to register to vote for the Fall elections. There will be candidates’ Forums at both the September and October OGHOA meetings
The meeting adjourned at 11:05 am.
